My weekend in a nutshell
This weekend went WAY too fast.
Yesterday morning I had a touch of some bug. Just felt icky. The wife made me go back to sleep and I slept … and slept … and slept. Didn’t wake up until after lunch. Wowza. While I slept, she did ALL the yardwork. What a woman!
Then our daughter had a sleepover birthday party to go to and we dumped our son off at a “Parent’s Night Out” thing at his Tae Kwon Do...
Why can’t my 6-year-old boy ever take “No” as “No”?

Surprise!
We flew to Chico, CA to surprise my mother-in-law for her 60th birthday. My brother-in-law and his fiance drove up. My wife’s “aunt” and her kids all came to town too. Lots of family, lots of fun.
But, WAY too short. We flew out on Friday afternoon and came back today. Ugh. Tired. In fact, going to bed now … night!

And by “wheel”, I mean “keyboard”.
I’m working on an application for our Security team at work. This is the THIRD revision of the tool … they keep changing what they want it to do AFTER I finish working on it. This revision came with quite a few database changes. In order to make the tool worthwhile, we need to import the data from the past version into this version.

There was a report this morning on the news about the recent rash of Airlines grounding planes and not getting inspections done, etc. If you haven’t heard any of this … well … you must live in a lovely cave.
